WEDDING INDUSTRY SUPPLIERS; HOW COVID-19 HAS IMPACTED OUR INDUSTRY

The Coronavirus Pandemic has turned the Wedding industry on its head
(not to mention the world) …
and as a result, every supplier is finding they must adapt to an entirely new way of working.

For us, we’re incredibly lucky to not be a ‘on the day supplier’ (although until now we’ve always been very envious!) and this means that we can take on multiple dates and it not be an issue.

Lots of fellow suppliers; Photographers, Florists, Stylists, Entertainers etc.
are limited to one wedding, per date.

This is where so many of the couples who always intended to get married in 2021, are now finding due to all the postponements, that there their first-choice suppliers may not be available, and our heart goes out to you all if you find yourselves in this position.

From the suppliers point of the view however, the postponement of this year’s date isn’t just simply a change to the diary, but a loss of income, and in turn this brings its own business and financial challenges to burden. So, when you’re looking for your Wedding Suppliers, don’t be disheartened if you fall into this bracket,
there’s always options.

In an industry flooded with talented, creative people with incredibly formidable small businesses;
there’s always choice.

When we started writing this blog, the intention was to talk about stationery, and how we personally have seen a change to our business; from our types of enquiries, work load, couples’ priorities and the list goes on. But we figured, we can write about that another time, and that right now, is a time to stick by each other, support local, and encourage enquiries towards fellow small businesses.

As a Wedding Industry supplier, we find that we work regularly with the same suppliers from other sectors, so naturally we instantly have a ‘must work with list’, but the point of this blog is to list multiple options, so here goes – here’s a big bunch of fantastic suppliers for you to find, chat with, and hopefully, work with …
