A ‘Home away from Home’
Kinda Wedding was the premise for
Hannah & Oliver’s Big Day.
Set at Hannah’s Mum and Dads farm in a beautifully restored barn, styled incredibly for the most stunning of Wedding days.
Hannah wanted the stationery to reflect the rustic and rural setting of the barn, adjacent to a majestic wheat field, sat delicately in the rolling Hereford countryside.
This though – had to be counter balanced with complete and utter elegance;
Hannah and Oliver wanted as much gold foiling as we could do, starting with their Save the Dates, through to the Wedding Invitations, all the way throughout the Day Stationery.
Rich green was the colour of choice, but we only hinted at this within the Save the Date, keeping just the envelope to this colour way.
Then, a rich green watercolour wash tonal pallet flowed throughout the invitation suite, and set a precedent for everything to come for the Stationery on the Big Day.
Hannah wanted Orders of Service, Menus, Place Names, Favour tags, Signage, a Table Plan and Table Names.
The Place Names were subtly adorned with the wheat from the Save the Date cards, and the rich green tones were used for the menus and the favour tags.
Finally, Hannah and Oliver wanted something really WOW for the table plan and table names, so we opted for a banquet design layout on huge A1 Perspex. Nothing makes a statement quite like this…
The Styling and décor for the barn exuded elegance from every corner, and we think our stationery was the icing on the cake that finished it all off.
However, undoubtedly the guest of honour and best part at this Wedding was the
ridiculously gorgeous dog RUBY!
We were swooning at how adorable she is!
Big thank you to Pippa Mackenzie for the most stunning photography,and an extra special thank you for getting so many amazing shots of the stationery – we suppliers so appreciate that!
